More snow

เป็นปีแห่งหายนะสำหรับชาวนา

It was a disastrous year for the farmers.

หิมะตกมากเสียจนรัฐบาลต้องก้าวเข้ามาช่วยเหลือ

The snow fell and fell until the government had to step in and help.

"ร้ายแรงมาก" ข้าราชการกล่าวกับชาวนาคนหนึ่ง "หิมะทั้งหมดนั่น"

"It must have been terrible", said the government official to a farmer. "All that snow."

"แย่กว่านี้ก็มีครับ เพื่อนบ้านของผมเจอหิมะมากกว่าผมอีก" ชาวนาตอบอย่างสุขุม

"Could have been worse. My neighbor had more snow than me.", answered the farmer calmly.

"เป็นแบบนั้นได้อย่างไรครับ" ข้าราชการถาม

"How's come?", asked the government official.

"ก็เขามีที่ดินมากกว่า" ชาวนาตอบ

"More land", replied the farmer.
